Dr. murugan muthu

Biography

Dr. Murugan Muthu is currently a research scientist at Khalifa University. He earned his Ph.D. in Civil Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology Madras. His previous experience includes postdoctoral fellowships at Technische Universität Darmstadt in Germany, Nanyang Technological University in Singapore, and Wroclaw University of Science and Technology in Poland, where he received a funding of 0.31 million PLN for his research. 

Murugan also served as an R&D Manager at Larsen & Toubro Construction, India's largest construction firm, where he worked on significant projects such as the Shri Ram Janmbhoomi Teerth Kshetra Main Temple and the Mumbai-Ahmedabad high-speed rail corridor. With over 25 scientific publications and 12 years of experience in both academic and industrial research, Murugan is well-versed in advanced research techniques and tools used in studying the physicochemical behavior of solids and solutions.
