Dr. tarek lemaoui

Biography

Dr. Tarek Lemaoui is a postdoctoral researcher in the Chemical Engineering and Petroleum Department at Khalifa University, where he has been working since April 2023. Before joining Khalifa University, he was a lecturer and researcher at the University of Ferhat Abbas, Sétif, Algeria, from April 2022 to March 2023. He earned his Ph.D. in Chemical Engineering from the same institution in 2022. Dr. Lemaoui is a highly accomplished chemical engineer with a strong academic background and a deep commitment to research. He has contributed to over 50 peer-reviewed journal papers, presented at more than 30 international conferences, and is the co-inventor on two U.S. patent applications. His research focuses on green solvents, 2D materials, water treatment, machine learning, and molecular modeling. He is currently affiliated with both the Research & Innovation Center for Graphene and 2D Materials (RIC2D) and the Center for Membranes and Advanced Water Technology (CMAT) at Khalifa University.
