Fathima holds a degree in Chemical Engineering, having completed her Bachelor's from Kerala University in 2015 and her Master's from Khalifa University in 2018. She currently works as a researcher at Khalifa University, specializing in nanomaterials, membrane fabrication, and advanced water treatment technologies. With nearly 10 years of research experience, Fathima has expertise in the synthesis and characterization of novel nanocomposites, membrane development, and pollutant removal processes. Her work integrates advanced oxidation processes, capacitive deionization, and membrane-based separations, aiming to address emerging environmental challenges. Fathima has co-authored several peer-reviewed publications and is passionate about translating laboratory innovations into practical solutions for sustainable water treatment. She has recently started working on capacitive deionization (CDI), exploring new materials and methods for improved water purification. She is proficient in operating a wide range of characterization instruments and has comprehensive experience in all aspects of research, from lab work to data interpretation and publication.
