The UAE has one of the most advanced Information and Communications Technology (ICT) infrastructure in the region, as well as a large number of high-tech organizations and enterprises. However, the advanced ICT infrastructure is the most vulnerable to threats and to the continuously evolving advances in Cyber-Crime and Cyber-Warfare. The need for UAE-based research in Information and Cyber-Physical System Security is therefore becoming increasingly essential.
The 5th UAE Cyber Security Symposium being organized by the Information Security Research Center (ISRC) at Khalifa University of Science and Technology will aim to offer a visionary research session that highlights and outlines key research issues and challenges for the ICT sector in the UAE.
