Biography

Dr. Yousuf Al Salami is currently working as an assistant professor at Khalifa University, Abu Dhabi, UAE in the department of Electrical Engineering and Computer Science. His research interests are focused on cyber security, cryptography and network security.

Dr. Yousuf Alsalami obtained his BSc in Electrical Engineering from the University of Southern California, Los Angeles, USA in 2006. He obtained his MSc in Security, Coding and Mathematics from Grenoble Institute of Technology, France in 2009. He received his PhD in Engineering from Khalifa University in 2016 under the external supervision of Prof. Claude Carlet from University of Paris 8 and 13, France.

Dr. Yousuf Alsalami worked at the Telecommunications and Digital Government Regulatory Authority (TDRA) of UAE in the Frequency Spectrum Affairs in 2007. He also worked at Emirates Advanced Investments Group on many projects related to cyber security from 2008 until 2016. Jointly in 2017, he moved to EBTIC as a Chief Researcher and Khalifa University as an Assistant Professor. Since 2019, he was fully affiliated with Khalifa University as an Assistant Professor.
