Biography

Dr. Naser received the M.Sc. degree in Electrical Engineering from Jordan University of Science and Technology, Jordan, 2015. Also, she received her Ph.D. degree in Electrical and Computer Engineering from Khalifa University, Abu Dhabi, UAE, in 2022. She is currently a Postdoctoral fellow at the KU 6G Research Center at Khalifa University. With over 5 years of teaching experience, she has taught various electrical engineering and computer science courses, covering topics such as Introduction to Computing using C++, Python, electric circuits, communication systems, and Matlab programming. Additionally, Dr. Naser held the position of course coordinator for the Introduction to Computing course at Khalifa University for nearly one year. Alongside her teaching commitments, she currently supervises three PhD students at KU. She has actively contributed to academic conferences, serving as a session chair for the UAE Graduate Students Research Conference and IEEE international events such as IEEE Globecom, IEEE ICC, IEEE WCNC, and IEEE CommNet. She has also been a member of the technical program committee for several IEEE conferences, including IEEE VTC 2022, IEEE ICC 2023, and IEEE 6GNet 2023.  She is also a member of the organizing committee for IEEE MECOM 2024 and Abu Dhabi 6G Summit 2023, 2024. Engaging in the peer-review process, Dr. Naser has contributed as an active reviewer to reputable IEEE journals such as Transactions on Communications, Transactions on Wireless Communications, IEEE Journal on Selected Areas in Communications, Communication Letters, and Photonics Journals, to name a few. With an h-index of 11 (on Google Scholar), she has authored or co-authored over 30 journal and conference publications. In addition to her academic achievements, Dr. Naser is actively involved in research collaborations with esteemed universities in Canada and the UK. Her research interests span advanced digital signal processing, convex optimization, mobile communication networks, optical wireless communications, ultra-low power networks, MIMO-based communication, and orthogonal/non-orthogonal multiple access.
