Biography

Dr. Kalam is a postdoctoral fellow in the Chemical and Petroleum Engineering department at Khalifa University, Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates. He holds a Ph.D. degree in Petroleum Engineering from King Fahd University of Petroleum & Minerals (KFUPM), Saudi Arabia. He completed an MS degree in Petroleum Engineering from KFUPM and a master’s degree in Energy and Environmental Economics and Management from Eni Corporate University, Italy. His research interests include machine learning, reservoir simulation, chemical EOR, unconventional reservoirs, CO2 sequestration, and hydrogen geo-storage. He has published more than 25 peer-reviewed journals and many conference papers.
