Professor & Acting Chair, Department of Humanities and Social Sciences

Professor Namwoon Kim is currently a Professor of Marketing & Strategy at the Department of Humanities and Social Sciences.  He previously taught at University of Technology Sydney, Hong Kong Polytechnic University, Hong Kong University of Science and Technology, and National University of Singapore. He has his PhD from the University of Texas at Austin.  His major research areas include Marketing Strategy, Multi-Product Market Analysis, B2B Marketing, and Channel & Supply Chain Strategy. He has published extensively in the marketing and management disciplines, including Journal of Marketing, Journal of Marketing Research, Management Science, Journal of Operations Management, International Journal of Research in Marketing, Journal of the Academy of Marketing Science, Journal of Product Innovation Management, Journal of Retailing, Journal of Service Research, Journal of Management, Research Policy, Industrial Marketing Management, Marketing letters, Journal of Business Research, Technological Forecasting and Social Change and other journals.

Professor Kim currently serves as an Associate Editor for Journal of Product Innovation Management and as an Editorial Board Member for Industrial Marketing Management and Journal of Business Research. He also takes the role of an Editorial Advisory Board member for Australasian Marketing Journal.
