Biography

Dr. Ahmed brings over ten years of extensive experience as both a clinician and educator to his current role. His professional journey has involved active participation in clinical education, encompassing hospital-based teaching, classroom instruction, and clinical simulation. Dr. Ahmed played a crucial role in establishing Clinical Skills and Simulation Centers in Bahrain and Ireland, showcasing his commitment to advancing medical education.

His career has taken him across diverse regions, including Sudan, Saudi Arabia, Bahrain, Qatar, Ireland, and the United Kingdom. Certified as an instructor in Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) by the American Heart Association, Dr. Ahmed has formal education and certification in medical education. His noteworthy achievements include being a Fellow of the Academy of Medical Educators in the United Kingdom and holding the title of a Certified Healthcare Simulation Educator from the Society for Simulation in Healthcare.

Currently, Dr. Ahmed serves as the Faculty Director of Simulation and Clinical Instructor of Clinical Skills and Simulation at the Center of Experiential Learning and Clinical Simulation at Khalifa University. In this capacity, he plays a pivotal role in supporting the clinical training of graduate medical students and practicing physicians.
