Biography

Mr. Farouk is Associate Researcher of Petroleum Engineering at Khalifa University of Science and Technology in Abu Dhabi, UAE. He holds B.Sc. and M.Sc. degrees from the University of Khartoum in Sudan, all in petroleum engineering. In addition, he has MBA degree in project management from the University of Khartoum in Sudan. His research interests include Chemical Enhanced Oil Recovery (CEOR) and CO2 Sequestration. He received an academic award from Schlumberger in 2006 for achieving third academic performance. Furthermore, 2011 SPE the Most Admired Graduated Project.
