Biography

I am a Postdoctoral Fellow Khalifa University.

My research interests include Sustainable Utilization Marine Bioresources, Marine biotechnology, Bioactive materials Marine Natural Products, 3D bioprinting, Stem cell and Biomaterials.

In this regard, over the past 10 years, I have gained broad expertise in marine biotechnology, cell and molecular biology, and tissue engineering techniques. Besides, I had hands-on experience with the fabrication of innovative and advanced Marine Natural Products (MNP) and biomaterials developments. Extraction and isolation of marine biomolecules such as collagen, extracellular matrix for bone, and cartilage and skin biomedical applications. Experienced in scientific SCUBA diving for sampling and characterization with the in vitro evaluation of biocompatibility tests using human stem cell culture assays. Well-versed in numerous techniques including structural characterizations by FTIR, XRD, TGA, SEM and Raman analysis. Developed strong background in the preparation and management of research projects.

Winner of (2019-2020) Canadian Stem Cell Network travel award for the novel research on marine biomaterial and stem cell interaction presented in  Till and McCulloch Meetings at Montreal, Canada.

Received the Canadian Stem Cell Network travel award for the best research work on marine-derived biomaterial for stem cell regeneration to attend Till and McCulloch Meetings in Ottawa, Canada (2018-2019).

Young Scientist Fellow Award from Indian Council of Medical Research (ICMR), Department of Health Research, Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, Government of India (2019-2020)

National Postdoctoral fellow award from the Department of Science and Technology, Government of India (2017-2018).
