Biography

Dr. Immanuvel Paul is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Aerospace Engineering at Khalifa University, where he has been since January 2024. Prior to this, he was a Lecturer in Thermal Engineering at Newcastle University, UK (2020–2023), and a Postdoctoral Fellow at the Center for Turbulence Research (CTR), Stanford University, USA (2018–2020).

He received his PhD from Imperial College London as a Marie Curie Fellow. His doctoral thesis was recognized as runner-up for the Aeronautics PhD Prize in 2017.

Dr. Paul’s research lies in turbulence, thermofluids, and computational fluid dynamics, with a focus on the mathematical and numerical modeling of complex fluid dynamical systems. His work aims to develop predictive frameworks for understanding transport processes and multiscale interactions in turbulent flows, with relevance to aerospace and energy applications.
