Dr. ashraf alkhateeb

Biography

Dr. Ashraf Al-Khateeb is the Associate Chair for Undergraduate Studies in the Aerospace Engineering Department at Khalifa University. Prior to his current appointment, he joined the Clean Combustion Research Center (CCRC) at King Abdullah University of Science & Technology (KAUST) in Saudi Arabia as a postdoctoral fellow. During his PhD at the University of Notre Dame, he joined the Chemical Science and Engineering Department at Argonne National Lab, Illinois. USA as a visiting researcher. He is the recipient of the University of Notre Dame Kanab Center Award for Excellence in Teaching. Dr. Al-Khateeb is a member of the AIAA, SIAM, and the Combustion Institute, and he is the advisor of the Khalifa University AIAA student branch.
