Dr. Doris Tang is a Postdoctoral Researcher at the Food Security Technology Centre (FSTC), Khalifa University, Abu Dhabi. Her research focuses on the development of advanced nanomaterials for biosensing applications, with particular emphasis on the green synthesis of nanoparticles from marine microalgae. She earned her PhD in Chemical and Environmental Engineering from the University of Nottingham Malaysia in 2023, where her research focused on sustainable nanotechnology and environmental applications. She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Biomedical Science (with Distinction) from the University of Malaya (2019). Her research interests lie at the intersection of microalgae biotechnology, biosensing, and sustainable bioresources for environmental and food security.
