Biography

Abdelmaksoud joined Khalifa University as a postdoctoral fellow in March 2024 and has published several highly ranked articles. He serves as an Editorial Board Member for the Petroleum Geoscience journal (a GSL Journal).

He also acts a reviewer for several reputable journals, including Marine and Petroleum Geology (currently, Marine Geoscience and Energy Resources), Scientific Reports, Tectonophysics, Ore Geology Reviews, Journal of Applied Geophysics, Energy Geoscience, Geoenergy Science and Engineering, Marine Geophysical Research, Natural Resources Research, Petroleum Research, Journal of Asian Earth Sciences, Journal of African Earth Sciences, Physics and Chemistry of the Earth, Heliyon, Geomechanics and Geophysics for Geoenergy and Georesources.
