Biography

Dr. Afef Saihi is Senior Lecturer in the Department of Management Science and Engineering at Khalifa University. She earned her Ph.D. in Engineering Systems Management from the American University of Sharjah, where she graduated with the highest honors and received multiple awards for academic and research excellence. She also holds a Master's degree in Telecommunications Engineering and a Master in Business Administration. Before joining academia, Dr. Saihi accumulated over nine years of industry experience with multinational companies including Siemens, Nokia and Tunisie Telecom, where she specialized in technical sales of converged core network products and big data analytics solutions.
Dr. Saihi’s research spans sustainability, digital transformation, supply chain management, and technology adoption. Her research has been published in leading international journals, including International Journal of Production Economics, Computers & Industrial Engineering, International Journal of Quality & Reliability Management, Computers & Education: Artificial Intelligence, and Education and Information Technologies. Several of these journals are ranked among the top 1% of Scopus-indexed outlets.
