WFES

The World Future Energy Summit is the leading international event accelerating sustainability and the global transition to clean energy. It is the flagship event of the Abu Dhabi Sustainability Week (ADSW), held annually in January.

WFES brings together government and business leaders, international suppliers, decision makers and visitors from 170 countries to share insights and innovative ideas and progressions across the energy sectors.

Members from KU’s Young Future Energy Leaders (YFEL) program are invited to participate in WFES each year.

Abu Dhabi Science Festival

The Abu Dhabi Science Festival (ADSF) is an annual event that brings the extraordinary world of science to the UAE, with a variety of fun scientific activities. Children and students are invited to explore the workshops, shows and exhibits through organized school tours and family visits.

KU students participate as Science Communicators during ADSF. These students are trained on how to make the event a celebration of science in ways that engage and excite the next generation of scientists.

Think Science Fair

In order to enhance KU visibility among different scientific festivals, the Outreach Office supports KU’s participation in the national Think Science Fair. The fair, held each year, has a vibrant atmosphere with more than 15,000 youth, VIPs, media and guests from all over the emirates.

ADIPEC Hosts

ADIPEC provides KU students the opportunity to interact with major players in the oil & gas industry like ADNOC, TOTAL, Weatherford, Petrofac and Partex, and gave them the opportunity to work in one of the largest oil & gas events in the world.
