Khalifa University's Visiting Undergraduate Student Research Experience Program provides high achieving Junior and Senior level undergraduate students from Khalifa University and other universities an opportunity to work on a research project under the supervision of one of Khalifa University faculty for 6-8 weeks.
Khalifa University Student Eligibility Requirements
- Be a junior or senior (60 or more credits).
- Be in good academic standing (not on academic probation).
- Have a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.3.
- Have sufficient prior background in the subject area of the independent study course.
- Possess necessary discipline and motivation to undertake independent study.
- Not take more than one independent study course during the undergraduate program.
- Successfully complete a personal interview with the Research Project instructor.
Visiting Student from Another University Eligibility Requirements
- Undergraduate students in their junior or senior year of study.
- Enroll at a reputed university and major in the sciences or engineering.
- A minimum cumulative grade point average (CGPA) of 3.5; an IELTS score of at least 6.0 (or equivalent)
- A letter of recommendation is required.
- Successfully complete a personal interview with the Research Project instructor.
