In response to new requirements by the Ministry of Education, the undergraduate MEEN curriculum has been revised to include a course on artificial intelligence (MEEN 301) and an extended internship (ENGR 399) spanning 16 weeks of professional placement. Moreover, the former freshmen engineering design course is substituted with GENS 101, a course of wider scope highlighting grand challenges in the engineering and sciences disciplines, and instruction in finite element analysis (MEEN 455) is now mandatory.
