Crushing, Sieving and Drying

Thermogravimetric Analysis (TGA)

  • Performed proximate analysis using Thermo-scientific STA TA Q600
  • Airflow rate: 100 ml/min

Ultimate Analysis and Heating Value

  • Thermoscientific FLASH (model 2000, USA) analyzer was used to obtain elemental analysis on CHNOS basis with crucibles weighing 2-3 mg
  • Parr bomb calorimeter (model 6100, USA) was used to determine heating values by pelletizing samples of 0.7-1g in an oxygen bomb

Experimental Setup

Drop Tube Reactor (DTR)

  • Rectangular stainless-steel furnace.15 K-type thermocouples for temperature monitoring
  • Gas sampling (Portable gas analyzer) facilitated by suction pump long stem needles
  • Capable of reaching temperatures up to 1400 K
  • Integrates gas delivery system, particle injection mechanism, and diagnostic instrumentation
