The SAM Lab focuses on the additive manufacturing of smart materials, composites, and bio-inspired materials. To support this work, the lab is equipped with the following categories of equipment:

  1. Casting, Metallurgy, and High-Temperature Processing.
  2. Polymer Processing and Material Preparation ( freezer, extruder, material stations).
  3. FDM printers (multi material printers, independent dual extruder printers, basic FDM printers).
  4. Resin printers (DLP).
  5. Post processing stations (resin washing, resin curing stations).
