Dr. Walaa AlKhader is currently a post-doctoral fellow at Khalifa University within the Department of Management Science and Engineering. She earned her Ph.D. degree in Engineering Systems and Management from Khalifa University, UAE, as well as her master's degree in Engineering Systems and Management from Masdar Institute, UAE. Her M.Sc. research was centered on the economic impact of advancing technologies in the UAE, employing data mining to investigate job dynamics. In her doctoral research, she focused on digital manufacturing and supply chains, developing comprehensive solutions to address some of their central challenges using blockchain, machine learning, and optimization models. Her research interests encompass digital supply chain, digital manufacturing, operations research, sustainability, and Industry 4.0 tools and applications.
