Dr. Vikas Swarnakar is a Post Doctoral Fellow in the Department of Management Science and Engineering at Khalifa University, Abu Dhabi. He held the position of Assistant Professor at JK Engineering College in Bilaspur, India, and at Shankaracharya College of Engineering and Management in Bhilai, India From 2015 to 2017. Additionally, he fulfilled various administrative roles during this tenure, including Center Superintendent, Exam Coordinator, and Accreditation Committee Member at these institutions.
He was awarded Ph.D. in Industrial Engineering and Management from the National Institute of Technology, Raipur, India. He earned an M. Tech (Hons.) in Industrial Engineering and Management from the National Institute of Technology, Tiruchirappalli, Tamilnadu, India.
He earned his B. Tech in Industrial and Production Engineering from Guru Ghasidas University (A Central
University), Bilaspur, India.
He has published more than 56 journals and conference papers in reputed journals. He is on the article review committee of many reputed journals including International Journal of Lean Six Sigma (Emerald Publisher), Total Quality Management and Business Excellence (Taylor and Francis), TQM journal (Emerald), International Journal of Quality and Reliability Management (Emerald), IEEE Access, Sustainability (MDPI), The Learning Organizations (Emerald), Frontier Since, Cogent Engineering (Taylor and Francis), Journal of Cleaner Production (Elsevier), Sustainable Energy Technologies and Assessments (Elsevier) etc.
His research interest includes Operational Excellence, Sustainable Manufacturing, Industry 4.0, Quality 4.0, Healthcare 4.0, Circular Economy, Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, Sustainability, Agile Manufacturing, Supply Chain Management, Optimization, Waste Management, Fuzzy Logic Approach, Multi-Criteria Decision Making, etc.
