Dr. Theodore (Ted) Burkett is the Acting Director of the Preparatory Program at Khalifa University, Abu Dhabi. He has more than 20 years of experience in teaching EAP and ESP in Istanbul and Abu Dhabi. His research interests include language testing, the use of frequency-based word lists, culture gaps in the language classroom and technology in language teaching.
