Taha Ismail earned his BS in Physics from The Middle East Technical University – Ankara in 1992.
After working as secondary school Physics teacher in Lebanon for seven years, he joined WesternGeco Company in Abu Dhabi. There, he worked as a field geophysicist for four years and a half.
Taha joined the Petroleum Institute in 2004 as Physics Lab Instructor and he became a member of Khalifa University for Science and Technology after the merger in 2017 between Khalifa University, The Petroleum Institute, and Masdar Institute.
Mr. Ismail has a huge experience in teaching the undergraduate Physics courses labs (PHY121 – Physics I, PHY122 – Physics II, PHY213 – Modern Physics, and PHY351 – Advanced Experiments in Physics).
Mr. Ismail initiated the Physics labs for the Modern Physics Course and the Advanced Experiments in Physics course for the Physics department in Khalifa University.
