Dr. shaista sultan

Biography

Dr Shaista Sultan is currently working as a Postdoctoral Fellow in the Department of Chemistry, at Khalifa University of Science and Technology, Abu Dhabi. Earlier she worked for some time as a postdoctoral fellow at the Sharjah Institute of Medical Research, University of Sharjah. She has also worked as a lecturer of Chemistry at the University of Kashmir for some time. She earned her Ph.D. from AcSIR, CSIR-Indian Institute of Integrative Medicine, Jammu India in 2019. Her research focus was mostly on developing synthetic methods for the generation of Carbon and Nitrogen-centered radicals. Moreover, she has relevant experience in the areas of medicinal and natural product chemistry and drug discovery. She has authored many research articles and reviews in journals of international repute.
