Dr Pedro Rochedo is a Professor of Industrial and Systems Engineering at Khalifa University (KU) since 2023. Before joining KU, he was a Professor of the Energy Planning Program, at COPPE/UFRJ (2018-2023). His research interests include energy system analysis, environmental modelling, climate change and integrated assessment models. He was a visiting student at IIASA, is a certified trainer for the IAEA’s analytical tool for energy modelling. Pedro has contributed for many years in the development of several models, including sectorial models (refineries, biorefineries, power sector), as well as integrated assessment models with national (BLUES and ELENA) and global (COFFEE) coverage for energy and land systems analysis.
