Dr. Nirmal Mukundan C M was born in Mala village, Thrissur, Kerala, India. He received the B. Tech. degree in electrical and electronics engineering from the Govt. Engineering College, Idukki, Mahatma Gandhi University, Kerala, India, in 2013, and the M. Tech. degree in power electronics and drives from the Govt. College of Engineering, Kannur (University first position), Kannur University, Kerala, India, in 2016. After completing his Ph.D. from Govt. College of Engineering Kannur, APJ Abdul Kalam Technological University in 2021, he joined as a Post-Doctoral Fellow at Khalifa University, Abu Dhabi, UAE. His research interests include power quality, power electronics, renewable energy, power systems, electric vehicles, multilevel inverters, and smart grids. He is also a member of the IEEE Power Electronics, Industry Applications, Industrial Electronics and Power and Energy societies and Young Professionals. He is also a Reviewer Member of various international journals and conferences.
