Biography

Murad, a graduate in Computer Engineering and Computer Science from Khalifa University (BS in January 2021, MS in May 2023), currently serves as a Research Engineer in the Autonomous Vehicles Lab. Specializing in Machine Learning, Deep Learning, and Autonomous Driving, he focuses on pedestrian behavior prediction and autonomous driving. Murad is a member of IEEE Eta Kappa Nu and the Golden Key Honor Society. During his Masters program, he contributed as a primary lab instructor for C++, MATLAB, and concepts of programming courses at Khalifa University. Additionally, Murad was part of the Autonomous Vehicles Lab team, which achieved first place in 2021 and second place in 2023 at the Dubai World Challenge for the Self-Driving Academia section. In addition to his academic pursuits, Murad has participated in various competitions, securing second place in the 2018 National Huawei ICT competition in the UAE and subsequently representing the country in the Middle East ICT competition. As an intern, Murad worked at Gamaleran as a Microsoft PowerApps and PowerFlow Developer.
