Biography

I am currently a Post-Doctoral Fellow at the Department of Chemical Engineering. Previously, I served as a Research Associate at the Indian Council of Medical Research. I hold a Ph.D. in Bioscience and a Master’s in Biochemistry from Jamia Millia Islamia, New Delhi. My expertise lies at the intersection of Bionanotechnology, Biofilm-mediated microbial resistance, Proteomics, Enzyme-mediated catalysis/immobilization, and Food Biochemistry.

In my current role, my research is centered on proteomic profile analysis of Saccharomyces cerevisiae under stress conditions and exploring innovative non-thermal food processing methods. My work also revolves around understanding biofilm-mediated microbial resistance and contributing to developing safer and more sustainable food processing technologies.
