Jad Bassous holds an Engineering Degree in Computer science, Electronics and Robotics from Ecole Supérieure d’Informatique-Electronique-Automatique (Paris, France) an MSc degree in Networking from Université Pierre et Marie Curie (Paris VI, France) and an MBA from Ecole Nationale des Ponts et Chaussées (Paris, France).
Jad has over 30 years of teaching experience of which 10 years in higher education when he started teaching Financial and Strategic Analysis to Master's level students at Sorbonne University Abu Dhabi. He was promoted to Visiting Faculty in 2018 then to Lecturer in 2019 where he notably taught Mathematics for Microeconomics, Pre-calculus, Calculus I, Calculus II, Mathematics I, Elements of Mathematics, Computer Science and Numerical Methods in Mechanics.
In January 2022, Jad joined the College of Arts and Science at Khalifa University as a Senior Lecturer in the Department of Mathematics, where he taught Calculus I and II, and actively participated in the KU community through committees and spontaneous actions.
