Dr. M. Ismaiel is a postdoctoral fellow in the Department of Earth Sciences at Khalifa University. He previously served as DST-Inspire Faculty at the University of Hyderabad, India. Dr. Ismaiel received his Ph.D. degree from AcSIR-National Institute of Oceanography, Goa, India. His current research project is focused on crustal architecture and tectonic evolution of the UAE-Oman ophiolite belt using the teleseismic receiver function technique, gravity, and isostatic modeling.
