Biography

Dr. Iliyas Khan received his Master’s degree in Pharmaceutical Chemistry and PhD degree in Pharmacy from Central University of Rajasthan, India with a fully funded scholarship. In 2023, Dr. Iliyas joined as a Postdoctoral Fellow at Khalifa University, UAE. During his doctoral tenure, he has worked in novel drug delivery systems (NDDS) such as “Polymeric nanoparticles, Polymeric micelles, Dendrimers, Gelatin nanoparticles, Lipid nanoparticles, Liposomes, Dendrosomes, etc. for the management of Cancer, Malaria and TB. Simultaneously, he also worked on bioconjugation tactics (Dendrimer-siRNA conjugation), ligand conjugation, targeted drug delivery, and polymer-drug conjugation. His research work has been published in the ACS Applied Bio Materials, ACS Molecular Pharmaceutics, International Journal of Biological Macromolecules, Materials Science and Engineering C, Pharmaceutical Research, and many other reputed peer-reviewed journals, He also published ten book chapters (two as a corresponding author).
