Biography

With a distinguished career that bridges the realms of astrophysics and education, Hagop Aynedjian stands as a testament to the power of relentless curiosity and a passion for innovation. Graduating top of his class with a Masters (Maîtrise) in General Physics from Université Saint Joseph De Beyrouth, Hagop furthered his academic pursuits with a Master of Space Sciences at Université Paul Sabatier (Toulouse III) in Toulouse, France, where his significant achievements included publishing a scientific paper and successfully completing a mission on the Bernard Lyot Telescope.

Since 2009, Hagop has been holding successive roles at Khalifa University in Abu Dhabi. His expertise extends beyond physics, covering mechanical engineering, innovation, and more. His role as the Success Manager of the PI FYE Program, which won the 2015 Khalifa Education award, underscores his commitment to educational excellence.

Hagop's proficiency is further exemplified in his role with the UAE Ministry of Education, where he served as an education management consultant and senior subject/assessment specialist. He played a critical role in the Emirates Standardized Test (EMSAT) and UAE teacher licensing test development, bringing his analytical insight to the forefront of educational advancement in the UAE.

Fluent in Armenian, English, French, and Arabic, Hagop's linguistic capabilities mirror his global perspective and multifaceted expertise.

Beyond academia, Hagop is deeply invested in social entrepreneurship, particularly in Armenia. His involvement with the IDO Impact Investment Summit and mentoring in Armenia reflects his commitment to social and economic development.
