Biography

Dr. Dirar Homouz obtained his PhD degree from the University of Houston, TX, USA in 2007. Dr. Homouz’s current research is in the area of computational biophysics where he uses molecular dynamics simulations to model protein folding in cell-like environments. In addition, he uses these methods to investigate the confinement effects in many important nano applications. Dr. Homouz is also interested in studying gene expression regulations where he uses advanced statistical learning algorithms to study gene-gene networks.
