Biography

Dr. Dinesh Joshi is a Postdoctoral Researcher in the Department of Chemical and Petroleum Engineering at Khalifa University, Abu Dhabi, UAE. He holds a PhD in Petroleum Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology (Indian School of Mines), Dhanbad, India. His expertise spans Chemical Enhanced Oil Recovery (CEOR), CO₂-based EOR, carbon capture and storage (CCUS), and reservoir simulation. Dr. Joshi actively contributes to the development of nanoparticle-stabilized foam EOR systems and the modelling of CO₂ sequestration processes in carbonate reservoirs.

Currently, he is working with Dr. Emad Al Shalabi on an ADNOC-sponsored research project focused on CO₂ foam EOR in UAE carbonate reservoirs.
