Biography

Abeer holds a master's degree in Applied Chemistry from Jordan University of Science and Technology. Her journey in the field of chemistry began in 2001 when she started as a laboratory instructor at Jordan University of Science and Technology. Over the years, she gained valuable experience working as a chemistry teacher and science adviser in high schools in Jordan and the UAE.
In 2013, Abeer transitioned to the role of a laboratory instructor at the Institute of Applied Technology. Her commitment to the field led her to join the chemistry department at the Petroleum Institute in 2015, which later became an integral part of Khalifa University in 2017. Abeer has been promoted to Senior Lab Specialist in the Chemistry department at Khalifa University since 2023.
With 23 years of extensive experience, she has experience in operating a wide range of analytical instruments, including Ball milling machines (MM200, MM400, EMAX), FT-IR, TGA, DSC, SEM-EDX, NMR, TEM, Crystal-16, XRD diffractometer, as well as various separation techniques (GC-MS, GC-FID).
