Noorhan Noor to read “The Kite” الطائرة الورقية
اتبة من مصر ومقیمة في دولة الإمارات، تعیش الكاتبة منذ الصغر في دولة الإمارات ونمت على أرضھا مثل صغارھا وأشجارھا، ولھذا فھي تحُبُّ أن تعُرَّف بأنھا إنسانة عربیّة تشمل كل عالمنا العربي وتؤمن أن كل التعاریف الأخرى تضُیقُّ ما ھو واسعٌ في الأصل. منذ أن عرفت أن قدرھا أن تكون كاتبة، اتضحت لھا الرؤیة واتسعت الحیاة، كما لو أن أحدھم أشعل الضوء وأزال الجدران في غرفة بدت ضیقة ومعتمة. ترى الكاتبة أن الحیاة تتألفَُّ من كلمات وأدب، ودونھما ستسقط الحیاة في ظلام الكآبة والجھل. صدر لھا عام 2017 مجموعة قصصیة للكبار بعنوان “حدیثٌ بین المقاعد الشاغرة”. كما صدر لھا الإصدار الأول في مجال أدب الأطفال مع حلول معرض الشارقة الدولي للكتاب عام 2019 بعنوان “الطائرة الورقیّة” برسوم الرسّام العالمي “باولو دومینكوني” عن دار أشجار للنشر والتوزیع. كما ترجمت الكاتبة عن اللغة الإنجلیزیةّ قصة للأطفال بعنوان “بیني ذو الزرِّ الواحد” من تألیف آلان ویندرام ورسوم كلوي ھولویل ھنتر وقصتيّ “البذرة السیئة” و “البیضة الجیدة” للمؤلف جوري جون ورسوم بیت أوسوالد وجمیع الكتب المترجمة صادرة عن دار أشجار للنشر والتوزیع.
An Egyptian Author living in the UAE all her life. She connects deeply with the Emirati land, people, and culture, and believes that a person’s identity is much more than what their legal papers say they are. That is why she prefers to be known as a Human first and an Arab second, rather than anything else that would inevitably limit her identity and humanity. She believes in words and literature and sees that without them, life would fall into ignorance and despair. She has two publications so far.

- 2020: The Kite; The Children’s Picture book was shortlisted in the Etisalat Award for Best Production
- وصلت قصة الأطفال “الطائرة الورقیة” للقائمة القصیرة لجائزة اتصالات عن فئة أفضل إخراج لعام 2020
