Author Asma Kherbash will lead a discussion on the “Myths on writing fiction.”
Aspiring writers often entertain ideal notions about writing and getting published, overlooking the frustrating challenges that meet the author, which can lead to capitulation. In this session, Asma will shed some light and share experiences both personal and observed to prime writers on what to expect.
Asma’s bio:
Asma enjoys telling stories in one form or another. Born and raised in Dubai, she worked as a freelance graphic designer and art director for over ten years, during which her work was featured online and in print. Her debut novel, Lesath, was published in 2019, followed by its sequel, Shaula, in 2021.
