The Reactor Design and Analysis (RDA) laboratory focuses on advanced numerical simulations in nuclear reactor physics and thermal-hydraulics, using state-of-the-art computational tools.

In reactor physics, the team addresses challenges in core neutronics and fuel management, developing models that enhance our understanding of reactor behavior. In thermal-hydraulics, the lab focuses on two-phase flow phenomena, such as boiling and condensation, to improve predictions of heat transfer dynamics.

With its integration of advanced reactor physics and CFD tools, the lab contributes to next-generation reactor technologies while also playing a pivotal role in the training and development of Khalifa University students.
