SAS AL NAKHL CAMPUS

The Sas Al Nakhl Campus is located near the Maqta Bridge, which connects Abu Dhabi Island to the mainland.

The Sas Al Nakhl Campus hosts the ADNOC Research and Innovation Center (ADRIC), a state-of-the-art research facility comprising 39 labs covering reservoir rock characterization and reservoir fluid characterization.

Student residences at the Sas Al Nakhl Campus consist of male and female dorms. Male students are housed in six hostel buildings on campus while female students reside off-campus at the Umm Lulu Housing Complex. All student dormitories are equipped with Wi-Fi and Internet, cleaning services and 24-hour security.

Exercise rooms are available in Student Center, Arzanah, and Umm Lulu buildings and there are a number of sports courts and fields on campus.

The campus also features dining at the male and female Student Life buildings. The Satah building has a dining facility that serves three meals a day and a similar outlet is open to the female students in Arzanah building serving two meals a day.

Smaller cafeterias are open for the Sas Al Nakhl Campus community in the Bu Hasa and Habshan buildings. All of these outlets serve an a la carte menu and breakfast and lunch buffets.

The Sas Al Nakhl campus also houses two libraries with an extensive collection of books, journals and periodicals. In addition, its libraries provide access to more than 40 online databases on- and off-campus such as EBSCOhost, OnePetro and Science Direct. It also features the Independent Learning Center (ILC), which has been designed to help students with self-study.

The campus also has First Aid Clinics to provide primary health care to the students, faculty, and staff members as well as the Sas Al Nakhl Clinic.

Student Hub

The Student Hub at Khalifa University’s Abu Dhabi campus offers students a comfortable area to relax between classes, get homework done, or have a coffee with friends. The Student Hub is located on the ground floor of the library building (next to the Khalifa University Discovery Center) and includes restaurant services, homework tables and comfortable benches.

Both male and female activity rooms are located on the ground floor of the Academic Building. The activity rooms provide various recreational equipments such as table tennis, billiards tables, and treadmills, along with television and seating areas.

يوفر مركز الطلبة في حرم جامعة خليفة في أبوظبي للطلبة منطقة مريحة للاسترخاء بين المحاضرات أو لأداء الواجبات المنزلية أو تناول القهوة مع الأصدقاء. يقع مركز الطلبة في الطابق الأرضي من مبنى المكتبة (بجوار مركز اكتشاف جامعة خليفة) ويتضمن خدمات تشمل المطاعم وطاولات لأداء الواجبات المنزلية والمقاعد المريحة.

تقع غرف الأنشطة للذكور والإناث في الطابق الأرضي من المبنى الأكاديمي، حيث توفر هذه الغرف العديد من وسائل الترفيه مثل تنس الطاولة وطاولات البلياردو وأجهزة المشي، إلى جانب التلفزيون ومناطق الجلوس.

Sports Facilities

Khalifa University boasts one of the largest fitness facilities in the UAE in an academic institution. Housed over four stories, the gym consists of separate two-level men’s and women’s facilities, featuring state-of-the-art cardiovascular and weightlifting equipment, as well as studios for Yoga and others for martial arts, such as Boxing and Taekwondo. There are also multi-use courts for basketball, squash, volleyball, and badminton.

These courts are open not only to KU students, faculty, and staff, but also extend access to their friends and relatives offering a welcoming space for the wider KU community to engage in sports, stay active, and enjoy recreational time together.

تفتخر جامعة خليفة بامتلاكها أحد أكبر مرافق اللياقة البدنية في دولة الإمارات التي تقع في مؤسسة أكاديمية، حيث يضم أكثر من أربعة طوابق وتتكون الصالة الرياضية من مرافق منفصلة للرجال والنساء تنقسم إلى طابقين، كما يضم أحدث معدات تمارين القلب ورفع الأثقال بالإضافة إلى استوديوهات لليوغا وغيرها لفنون الدفاع عن النفس، مثل الملاكمة والتايكواندو، بالإضافة إلى ملاعب متعددة الاستخدامات لكرة السلة والاسكواش وكرة الطائرة وكرة الريشة.

يدير المرافق مدربون شخصيون خبراء ومتخصصون في اللياقة البدنية يوجهون الطلبة وأعضاء الهيئة الأكاديمية والإدارية والخريجين بالطريقة الصحيحة، كما ينظمون حصصًا جماعية مختلفة.
