Senior Lecturer - General Education Unit - Academic Writing (English) position

The General Education Unit invites applications for Academic Writing (English) positions at the Senior Lecturer rank. Candidates should have a Master’s degree (no PhD’s for this position) in a relevant discipline such as English, Rhetoric & Composition, applied linguistics, and English for academic purposes, together with a minimum of eight years of teaching experience at a recognized, top-tier institutions.   Start date is January 2025.

The post holder will teach primarily academic English (composition) at the freshman level. There is no expectation that independent research will be conducted, although an interest in developing and applying recent research will be an advantage.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in a related discipline from an accredited institution
• A minimum of 8 years of experience relevant to the position
