Khalifa University to Co-Host School of Nuclear Energy Management

Organized in partnership with the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA).

Khalifa University will host a School of Nuclear Energy Management  May 17-28 2015 in conjunction with International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) the Federal Authority for Nuclear Regulation (FANR) Emirates Nuclear Energy Corporation (ENEC) and the Critical Infrastructure and Coastal Protection Authority (CICPA). 

Nuclear Energy Management School provides young professionals from countries that are currently exploring or developing nuclear energy initiatives with opportunities to meet and learn from experienced managers and professionals from established nuclear energy programs. The experience builds future nuclear energy leadership by offering a wide range of expertise on issues related to the peaceful use of nuclear technology; and broadens networks with people from all over the world.

Students will be expected to gain awareness of the most recent developments in nuclear energy in addition to IAEA specific knowledge and to develop a broad international perspective on issues related to the peaceful use of nuclear technology. They will hear from leading specialists on topics relevant to nuclear power development and implementation and establish lasting bonds with peers from many nations with shared interests and challenges.
