What We Do

The KU News Team promotes the work and expertise of the University to the world. We publicize developments and stories from the Khalifa University community, ranging from groundbreaking research initiatives to new appointments and the achievements of our staff and students.

What We Produce

Our goal is to ensure the work being done by our diverse community of faculty, students and staff gets heard, in order to enhance KU’s reputation as an education destination of choice and a global leader among research intensive universities.

Press Releases & Media Interviews

We share news stories and features through press releases issued to local and international media outlets. Our media relations team also coordinates interviews between approved faculty, students and researchers and interested journalists.

Digital Media

We also cover our faculty and student activities on our digital and social media platforms, which increases engagement with our stakeholders and boosts followers.

KU Publications

We publish our latest announcements, research breakthroughs and campus activities across our publications, which include the KU News website, KU Times, and Innovation Forward.

The Office of Marketing and Communications promotes KU research, innovations, teaching, and newsworthy events and people to the campus community, the news media, and the general public. We do this by communicating University announcements through emails and our internal monthly publication, the President’s Memo.

We also share achievements and updates with external stakeholders through press releases, news stories published on the KU website, and our other flagship publications, including KU Times and our monthly research newsletter, Innovation Forward.
