Interested in hosting an employer, information session, on-campus recruiting, inspirational talk, employer site visit or career related workshop? We will help you connect and interact with KU students and graduates in-person or virtually.
Information Session is designed to promote a company, share information regarding their current job or internship opportunities, and offer more information about their organization’s culture. It’s one to two hours long and consist of a company presentation where company representatives explain the values and mission of the company, current projects, and their hiring process. The session ends with a Q&A and an opportunity for students to network with the recruiters.
On-Campus Recruiting is designed to provide students the opportunity to attend employer information sessions and participate in on-campus interviews. Information sessions are a great way for students to learn more about an organization and its opportunities in terms of internship and job opportunities.
Inspirational Talks are motivational speeches by industry leaders that encourage and inspire students and graduates to take action or make changes that will make their lives better. It provides them with important knowledge that drives them to plan and achieve their life and career goals by presenting effective systems and successful examples.
Employer Site Visits are usually the student’s first opportunity to see how theory is applied and to consider their career path. It provides prospective employers with an opportunity to meet the University’s future graduates. It gives students an insight about the corporate world and how does the internal work in a company look like. It offers practical real-world perspective on different functions in organizations putting the theoretical knowledge into practice for students to make successful professional career.
Career Workshops provide educational opportunities for students to learn about important career readiness skills and topics. These workshops cover topics including, but not limited to resume writing, interview techniques, LinkedIn profile, job market trends & challenges, personal branding & employability skills, and understanding the future of work.
