The Research and Innovation Center for Graphene and 2D Materials (RIC2D) is organising a half-day workshop for interested KU faculty members working on layered (2D) materials technologies. The workshop is a forum for faculty to engage in the formulation of an upcoming joint internal funding call by KU’s University Sponsored Research and RIC2D. The workshop will also highlight how RIC2D can support KU faculty.


Aims and objectives

The workshop aims to stimulate discussion and encourage faculty:

  1. To provide input into how the upcoming funding call could engage faculty to participate
  2. To advise how RIC2D can assist faculty with G2DM research, highlighting what other support can be given by RIC2D

This event is open to KU faculty only

  1. Introduction to RIC2D and its mission
  2. Open discussion on the support needed by KU faculty working on G2DM with RIC-2D
  3. Open discussion on the suggested elements to include in the upcoming funding call
