Center for Catalysis and Separation

About Us

The Center of Catalysis and Separation (CeCaS) was established in July 2018 at Khalifa University. The research center is one of its kind within the UAE and has a strategic plan to be a financially sustainable center, building on national and international reputation, and industrial grants. The center builds upon the scientific human power of Khalifa University with a cohort of multidisciplinary expertise spanning different aspects from catalysis to adsorption and separation, to tackle the emerging challenges in these areas.


Mission vision Impacts

To provide local solutions to global challenges involved in the energy transition and environmental sustainability and accelerate the dissemination of forefront knowledge and creation of intellectual property within KU and UAE ecosystem.

Aspire to become a global center of excellence in sustainability using catalysis and separations as pillars while generate fundamental, technological and practical knowledge to drive Abu Dhabi and the UAE economy.
