Khalifa University held First Aid Training for 14 members of its staff and faculty in November 2013. The group consisting of lab engineers staff and members of the KU emergency team were given training on CPR and emergency medical response. The training was held as part of Khalifa University’s commitment to ensuring that there are competent and trained personnel on hand in case of a medical emergency and to ensure that the proper equipment is in place and is easily accessible in case of an emergency. Khalifa University is dedicated to ensuring that there are first aid responders available in labs and classrooms were hazardous materials may be used.
