Donations were collected throughout Ramadan from staff faculty and students.
Khalifa University recently held a ceremony to award its cleaning and office staff for their hard work and dedication. They received cash donations that had been collected from staff faculty and students during the month long ‘We Care We Share Ramadan Project’ organized by Khalifa University staff members Muna Al Memari and Eden Lopez Compahinay.
The event came as part of Khalifa University’s commitment to the Zayed Giving Initiative and was designed to show special appreciation to deserving members of the university’s community.
“Our Father the late Sheikh Zayed Bin Sultan Al Nahyan remains a role model for the UAE for its youth both locals and expatriates alike.” Said Dr. Arif Al Hammadi Executive Vice President of Khalifa University. “He is remembered for his tolerance determination compassion and commitment and these traits still act as a guiding light for us inspiring us to do better and to give more to those in need. Khalifa University is dedicated to maintaining Sheikh Zayed’s ideals to helping others and to contributing to the growth of this nation.”
