Khalifa University freshman students showcase their work

September 7, 2018

Khalifa University freshman students have been showcasing their design projects at the Abu Dhabi campus today.

Working in teams the students have built a variety of useful tools including drones fire-fighting robots cooling tents and wireless speakers. Students also programmed educational games about UAE culture and created apps that close and shut garage doors on command among others.

The students showed their work to an attentive crowd of students faculty and staff members demonstrating the finished products and displaying posters describing their methodologies.

The projects are the culmination of a year’s work and form a strong basis for the more complex and difficult projects that students typically undertake in their sophomore and senior years.
